We are releasing this guide to help us with the battle at this vital gate for our nation.  To best articulate the need and focus, here is an outline to help guide visionary purpose and focused prayers going forward.

Facts:
The state of our nation

1. Our nation is at an unprecedented spiritual and formative gate.  We have not been this way before with a former president being indicted primarily through an opposing political party and president.  This gate presents a way forward either towards God’s purposes and destiny, or towards man’s plans and destruction.  We are at a tipping point.
2. There is no judicial or political system that can settle the issues.  As such there is a significant battle for which we must recognize and contend.
3. Our prayers and declarations are vital for the direction of our nation at this time.

 
Our position with the Lord:

1. Humility is key:  God will not despise a humble and contrite heart.  Isaiah 57:15-18; 2 Chron 7:13-14
2. Give thanks:  Being thankful opens the door to conversation with God.  It moves us beyond whatever concerns us into conversation with a Father who cares, and opens our ears to hear what He would say to us.  Ps 100:4; 118:19
3. Acknowledge God in His sovereignty: Focusing on the multi-dimensional nature of God revealed in His names will move us beyond our concerns and opinions into revelation of His will.  
   1. Declare the names of God
   2. When humility and acknowledgement of the sovereignty of God meet, the fear of the Lord will prevail.  In it is wisdom and understanding.  
      1. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Ps 111:10;  Pro 9:10, 15:33; Is 33:6, Job 28:28
      2. The fear of the Lord yields knowledge and confidence Pro 1:7, 2:5, 14:26, Job 4:6, Is 33:6
      3. The fear of the Lord leads to life.  Pro 10:27, 14:27, 19:23, Ps 128:1,4

 
Declarations:

1. God will unveil all ungodly strongholds that have been covered through improper handling of the freedoms this nation has been founded on.
   1. Luke 8:17 “For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.”
   2. Daniel 2:22 “He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.”
   3. Proverbs 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. ‘
   4. Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord GOD does nothing Unless He reveals His secret counsel To His servants the prophets.”
   5. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10(NIV) “However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”—the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.”
   6. God’s promises when the hidden is unveiled the following: 
      1. Visionary direction:  1 Corinthians 2:9-10(NIV) “However, as it is written:“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard,and what no human mind has conceived”—the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.”
      2. Life:  Proverbs 4:18 “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”
      3. Friendship with God:  John 15:15 (NIV) “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”
2. Truth based on biblical values will be upheld in our courts, media, educational, and governmental systems “on earth as it is in heaven.”  Truth is defined by webster’s dictionary as “sincerity in action, character, and utterance.”  
   1. Release of repentance for twisting and violating public trust and confidence 
      1. Acts 3:19. Repent, therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. 
      2. Matthew 4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 
      3. Rev 3:19  Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. 
      4. Rev 2:5. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.
      5. Daniel 4:32 and you will be driven away from mankind, and your dwelling place will be with the beasts of the field. You will be given grass to eat like cattle, and seven periods of time will pass over you until you recognize that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever He wishes.’
   2. Release of legislation that fosters biblical values and life
      1. 1 Chron 29:12 Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.
      2. 2 Chron 20:6  and he said, “O Lord, the God of our fathers, are You not God in the heavens? And are You not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand so that no one can stand against You.
      3. John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
   3. Promises when righteousness rules
      1. Ps 110:2. The Lord will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, saying, “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”
      2. Pro 34. Righteousness exalts a nation
3. Humility and Integrity to be upheld by elected officials in their words and actions
   1. Col 3:12  Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 
   2. James 4:6,10  But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble”…Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up, 
   3.  Luke 14:11  For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted,
   4. Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
   5. Pro 11:3 The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity,
   6. Promises of Humility and Integrity
      1. He will lift you up. James 4:6, 10; Luke 14:11, 1 Kings 9:4-24
      2. It is the key to spiritual growth  As for me, You uphold me in my integrity and set me before Your face forever, Ps 41:12
      3. God protects you  May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord is in you, Ps 25:21; Pro 11:3
4. Elected officials will align legislation, and court rulings with the covenantal roots of our nation and citizens will pray for and obey .  
   1. For elected officials:
      1. Rom 12:3  For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. Romans 12:3
      2. Eph 2:8-10  For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
      3. Mt. 20:26  Not so with you.  Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant
      4. Phil 2:3  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.  Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.  
   2. For citizens:
      1. 1 Tim 2:1-2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
      2. Titus 3:1  Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work.
      3. 1 Peter 2:13-17 Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.
      4. Romans 13:1-2 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 
   3. Covenants of America
      1. “Mayflower compact” signed aboard ship November 21, 1620.  William Brewster credited as writing. Words agreed upon in covenant community laid foundations for the coming Declaration of Independence and constitution. 
         1. …And by Virtue hereof do enact, constitute, and frame, such just and equal Laws, Ordinances, Acts, Constitutions, and Offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general Good of the Colony unto which we promise all due Submission and Obedience.
      2. Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights
      3. Pledge of Allegiance, written by Francis Bellamy in 1892 to celebrate the 400 anniversary of Christopher Columbus arrival in America, adopted by congress in 1942.  Its words relay “One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” 
      4. Psalm 132 carries a martyr’s weight for America.  Jean Ribault pronouncement, October 12, 1565, Jacksonville, Fl.  
5. God will align America with Israel and pray for its peace
   1. Pray for steps for the reversal of Oslo Accords 1993, when division of Israel’s land was espoused.  While the recent Abraham Accords are a first step towards relational equity between Israel and Arab nations, the Accords also promote the division of Israel’s land and are in violation of God’s covenant with Israel.  The division of the land promoted by the Accords is not protected and likely to fall apart when Israel is attacked. 
      1. ​​Warnings:
         1. Zech 12:3 On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it.
         2. Nu 24:5, 9  “How lovely are your tents, O Jacob!  Your dwellings, O Israel!...He bows down, he lies down as a lion; and as a lion, who shall rouse him? Blessed is he who blesses you, and cursed is he who curses you.”
         3. Obediah 1:15  For the day of the Lord upon all the nations is near; as you have done, it shall be done to you.  
      2. Blessings
         1. Genesis 12:3  “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
         2. Deut. 7:6. For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
         3. Gal 3:14  so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit[e] through faith.
      3. Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem/Israel
         1. Ps 122:6-7  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you! Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!”
         2. Is 62:6-7  I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night.  You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
         3. Is 52:8 Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, With their voices they shall sing together; For they shall see eye to eye When the LORD brings back Zion.
