Purpose: To contend for the prophetic destiny of the State of Minnesota
I have set watchmen on your walls, O Minnesota;
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,
And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Minnesota a praise in the earth. (Isaiah 62:6-7)
Prophetic History:
1. A Threshing Floor
In 2003, during their 50 State Tour, Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce declared, “Minnesota is my threshing floor.” Events during the past five years have brought Minnesota to the national spotlight, as God is publicly threshing our state before the nation.
Threshing is the process by which the grain husks, or chaff, are loosened. It is done after the fields have been harvested and usually involves crushing the grain stalks on a flat surface, or a threshing floor. Threshing is necessary before the final process of winnowing, which separates the husks from the edible grain before the grain is ground and stored. The threshing floor is a place of judgment and testing as God is preparing for a harvest.
Threshing is an essential ministry of Jesus as stated in Luke 3:16-17:
John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean
out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire. (Luke 3:16-17)
The book The Threshing Floor by Rick Heeren provides more details about Minnesota’s calling as the Threshing Floor State.
2. An Altar
God is calling His watchman to build an altar on the threshing floor, similar to what David did to stem the plague which resulted from his disobedience in numbering the people against the will of God:
So the Lord sent a plague upon Israel from the morning till the appointed time. From Dan to Beersheba seventy thousand men
of the people died. And when the angel stretched out His hand over Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord relented from the
destruction, and said to the angel who was destroying the people, “It is enough; now restrain your hand.” And the angel
of the Lord was by the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.
And Gad came that day to David and said to him, “Go up, erect an altar to the Lord on the threshing floor of Araunah
the Jebusite. So David, according to the word of Gad, went up as the Lord commanded.
And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers
for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel. (2 Samuel 34:15-16,18-19,25)
3. Revival
As God is threshing His people in the State of Minnesota, and as we respond by building an altar of worship to Him, we believe that God will start a revival fire in our state that will spread to the nations.
In his book Minnesota The Revival State, Dale Gimore documents the history of revival and moves of God in Minnesota dating back to 1860.
We are thankful for those who laid a godly foundation in our state, and we believe God to cast off the wickedness that has developed in recent years and to restore godly foundations in the state. The best is yet to come for Minnesota!

4. Other Prophetic Insights:
The source of the Mississippi River, the longest river in the United States, begins in Northern Minnesota. We are believing for a release of pure living water from Minnesota to the rest of the nation.
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38)
Interstate I35 runs from Minnesota to Texas. It has prophetically been called the Highway of Holiness.
A highway shall be there, and a road,
And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
But it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road, although a fool,
Shall not go astray. (Isaiah 35:8)
Minnesota is the North Star State. God is dropping His plumbline to align true North with His throne from the North Star State of Minnesota.
“Behold, I am setting a plumb line
In the midst of My people Israel.” (Amos 3:8b)
The first ministry to Jewish people in the United States, was established in Minnesota. Good News for Israel was founded by the disciples of Hans Nielsen Hauge (1771-1824); a carpenter, lay clergy, and founder of the great Norwegian “Hauge Revival,” which eventually led to the founding of The Zion Society for Israel in 1878 and later renamed Good News for Israel in 1975. We continue to stand with Israel and the Jewish people against the forces of antisemitism and replacement theology and believe that God will bless our state.
I will bless those who bless you. (Genesis 12:3a)
The Indigenous People
God, forgive us for breaking covenants and shedding the innocent blood of the Indigenous people, which is a grievous sin in Your eyes. Forgive our pride in not respecting the customs of the indigenous people of Minnesota. Restore us to health and wholeness, and may we dwell in harmony in this land.
Now there was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; and David inquired of the Lord. And the Lord answered, “It is because of Saul and his]bloodthirsty house, because he killed the Gibeonites.” (2 Samuel 21:1)
They buried the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son in the country of Benjamin in Zelah, in the tomb of Kish his father. So they performed all that the king commanded. And after that God heeded the prayer for the land. (2 Samuel 21:14)
We honor the indigenous people in Minnesota, the Dakota (Sioux) and Ojibwe (Anishinaabe).
Ongoing Prayer Focus
Prophetic Decree Over Minnesota by James Nesbit 1/26/2026
“Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread, for the winepress is full… Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision.” (Joel 3:13-14)
By the authority of the Lord of Hosts, we decree that the Threshing Floor State is entering a holy season of separation and exposure. Let the winnowing fan of the Lord be released now--
to thresh rebellion,
to crush corruption,
and to separate chaff from wheat.
We decree that every hidden alliance, every unrighteous system, every secret bargain made in darkness is brought into the blazing light of God’s truth.
What has resisted repentance will not survive the threshing.
What has mocked righteousness will be broken under the weight of heaven’s justice.
We decree that the Lord Himself stands on the threshing floor--
His feet firm,
His eyes like fire,
His hand steady and sure.
He will not thresh the wheat to destroy it, but to free it.
He will not expose to shame the righteous, but to purify and promote them.
Let pride be stripped.
Let manipulation be uncovered.
Let counterfeit authority lose its voice.
Let rebellion be silenced by the fear of the Lord.
We decree that righteous leaders rise with clean hands and pure hearts.
Let integrity be crowned.
Let truth speak loudly.
Let justice roll like a mighty river through this state.
We proclaim:
The threshing is necessary.
The separation is holy.
The harvest is precious.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:27) - Righteous leaders and justice in the seats of authority
Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34) - The church is to be the salt and light God has called us to be
